Mazi means “together” in Greek. It’s a simple word for the feeling we want to create: good food, warm hospitality and a place where everyone belongs.

For Roger Rose, the idea grew from a lifelong connection to food and service—and the friendship of Yorgos, whose stories and love of food helped shape Mazi. After two decades as a Cincinnati firefighter and paramedic, Roger brought that care for people to a different kind of gathering place.
Today, we bring Mediterranean flavors to Cincinnati with the same intention: make something delicious, welcome people warmly and give them a reason to come back.
